Friday Favorites #2

I hope everyone has had a great week so far! How are you doing? I am looking forward to this weekend because Ryley and I have some exciting things planned. It’s finally in there 40’s here on a consistent basis and the sun is shining. I can’t tell you how happy that makes me! Also – the NCAA tournament is finally here. This is every sport lover’s dream, so this time of the year always makes me happy even though I’m the worst at filling out brackets 😫

I booked my tickets to head back home in a week and a half. I’ll be going to Nashville for a short period, and over to Charleston. I can’t wait to get away for a while. I’ve never gone on a “spring break”, so at the age of 26 I’ll be taking my first one. I’ve also only been to the East Coast one time, so I’m so excited to see the ocean and some beaches!

Any suggestions on where I should go in Nashville or Charleston?? Please drop them below in the comments! I’m kind of a dork and like to have a list of the best places to go 😊

On with the Friday Favorites!

These chocolate chip cookies are divine. I never use the word divine, by the way. That’s how good they are. I will be making them on a regular basis (goodbye beach bod 😜)! They are so chewy and flavorful. I only made a half batch this last round and I’m really regretting it. It’s probably a good thing because I made them for a potluck, which means I can’t eat the extras! Literally the best choc chip cookie I have ever made!

I’m onto another book this week called The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. The title sounds kind of goofy, but if you are into mysteries I highly recommend this. It’s a little difficult describe, but it’s essentially a guy named Aiden reliving a day over and over again until he can solve the murder of a woman named Evelyn. The twist is that he isn’t reliving the days in his own body. He relives them in the different bodies of those who know Evelyn. This way he can gather clues to solve her murder and free himself from his current situation. It’s a pretty interesting plot that has kept me reading nonstop!

I’ve been searching the internet like crazy for some new spring clothes. I haven’t gone shopping in ages and would love some new spring/summer dresses. Below are some of my favorites I’ve had my eye on this week!

I’m more of a midi/maxi dress person, but the black dress is so adorable. I think it would be perfect for a day to night dress. It looks comfy and casual for daytime, and could be easily dressed up for an evening out!

I hope you guys have enjoyed the post! Have a great weekend!
